Justin Purser is on day 3 of shooting two music videos for the Midi Mafia boys, one tied to the Cosmo/Nivea Bikini Bash being held in Vegas for the first time after a multi-year Miami run, and another one for Planet Hollywood. Videos are coming out in early May. Keep a look out. In the meantime, check out the piece that started it all, the Midi Mafia/Planet Hollywood Flash Mob!
Big thank you to the folks at Hearst and Cosmo, Nivea and the folks at Harrah’s and Planet Hollywood for having us out.
On Saturday May 1st, the Plumbers and Director John Asher teamed up with Island Def Jam, Kasey of Romance on a Rocketship, and Tabu (the lion) to create the first music video “Skin & Bones” for ROAR. At Monclair Prep School in the Valley, Asher went to town to create this Glee-inspired video where the high school sweetheart falls in love with Kasey, the rocker, while the jock ends up being baited into a room with a lion. John Asher is new to the FRANK roster and has made his mark directing episodes of GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL. Ethan the Plumber handled the edit
Another sweet good times project for the Japanese band Jam Project. Shot in the desert by Petro and edited by Groban, this video will be released late summer as part of their Greatest Hits album release.
“Put Your Hands Up,” directed by Dayo and Gil Green; editing, animation, and color correction by Plumber Ethan.
We’ve brought heavyweights Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Ludacris, and Rick Ross together in one place: DJ Khaled’s new video for “All I Do is Win.” Dayo directs, Plumber Ethan edits. Yes, this is the catchy tune you’ve been hearing on NCAA bumpers during televised college hoops games leading up to March Madness…
Pepsi and Akon’s Konfidence Foundation partnered up for charity with the new song “Oh Africa” sung by Akon, Keri Hilson and the Soweto Gospel Choir. The song is featured in a music video and a series of 30 second spots, directed by Gil Green and cut by Ethan the Plumber, that premiere on television and on iTunes the night of the Grammy’s, January 31st. Also in the video are World Cup stars Didier Drogba and Diego Torress.
Plumber Ethan is at it again, this time for director Gil Green’s new video featuring all your standard plumbing excitement of motorcycle chases, jet-skis, helicopters, mysterious briefcases and top to bottom septic system installations. Well, all except for one those things. Check it on MTV, BET and on this fine interwebs link-up:
